Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reading (AR) is a reading software program for kids.  A love for reading is promoted and a personal reading level is developed, and reading effectivness and retention is assessed through online quizzing. 

AR quizzes can be taken here or at the Colfax Elementary School.  There  is a ten cent per page charge for printing quiz results at the Colfax Public Library.  Children must sign up at the Colfax Elementary School to be a part of this program.  Please contact Mrs. JoAnn Mayfield, Reading Specialist, at mayfield@colfax.k12.wi.us for any questions about the Accelerated Reading progam.
